I'm under a LOT of pressure and stress here!!!

Alright, so I typed up my entire blog, and then when I added the pictures, it deleted it all! So, Here I go again .. *sigh*
I've been busy getting stuff together and organized for our trip next week. It's so hard to believe that we're only a couple days away from COOLER weather, and an even bigger chance of Monsoon storms! I'm so excited. It's going to me a nice and relaxing week, and I can't wait. I'm hoping I can get this afghan knocked out. only have three weeks left to finish it, and I haven't been able to work on it much this past week due to appointments and all that. I'm hoping after Bryan gets home, I'll be able to sit in the back room and finish this section. Once I finish the section, I think I'll be a LOT happier with it, and I'll be more motivated to work on it. I know next week, I'll be able to kick back and work on it, since Bryan will have the girls outside with him most likely.
I was debating on getting a spiral perm for the last month or so ... but I decided last night, that I'm just going to cut and dye my hair instead. I've been dying my hair red a LOT since I got married, and decided to go with a light brown this time around. I don't want to have red anymore, even though it looks real good on me. It was such a pain, because even though it's permament dye, it would ALWAYS wash out!! Talk about frustrating! Well, earlier today, I got my hair cut ... they cut 6 inches off. It doesn t look like a lot from thne pictures, but the first one, my hair was really frizzy and whatnot. And when I put the product in my hair, and actualy 'style' it, it goes to about my ears. I'm VERY happy with how it turned out. I can get the permed look easily since my hair is already naturally curly, I just need to know how to do it, and then get the right products for it, which the hair stylist showed me. Now, I got a light golden brown dye, and it came out medium brown, which is fine for me ... I didnt want it any darker than what it is now, and it will lighten up the next few times I wash it.

Hmm .. I had so much more to say, but I honestly can't remember what I had to say since all my notes and pointers were deleted. Ah well .. They will come to me while I clean up the house and get the dishes and laundry going, I'm sure.

Ohh, the insanity!!!

I never thought I would say this, but I'm hardly on the computer anymore! That's right folks! Little ole me, that's been glued to a computer the last 8+years is breaking away!!! Don't get me wrong, I get on to check my email at least every other day, but that's it. I'm not chatting away with (my only) two friends, bouncing around on random websites, reading blogs, none of that! I'll get on either early in the morning before the girls are up, or late at night when I SHOULD be sleeping.

Don't think I've fallen off the face of the earth .. I was actually trying to crochet as MANY items for my etsy shop as possible. I'm going to be doing a sale kickoff August 10th and I want a variety of items available. I have tapped into sewing a bit too .. I'm a little rusty at it (it's been 10+yrs since I even TOUCHED a sewing machine) but it's like riding a bike...you never really forget. I've got 26 items stacked up next to me, waiting to be pressed and sewn, the pattern is cut out already, but gotta sew together. I'm not going to put them on my shop until after vacation, possible the eve of my "sale". It's not really a sale, it's more of a donation process I guess. My prices will remain the same, but I will donate 50% of the sales to NTDs charities. I need to email a certain someone with some details and get a couple ideas from her to finish things up. I'm working on an afghan as well that I will be donating to her for a giveaway as well if she's interested.

I've decided to go to church today, with or without Bryan. I've been using him as an excuse and crutch long enough. Yes, it's a "ways away" going to the Gilbert campus rather than the Mesa campus just up the street from us, but I like the Gilbert location, PLUS my brother works there, and obviously attends that campus. I'll have a bigger chance of sitting with him and my sister in law rather than sitting alone until I meet a few other people. I hate that I've let so much time go since I've last gone to church. I haven't even gone for Christmas Eve or Easter services. Despite Abigail being 7 days old on Easter, it wouldn't have stopped me from going. Well, that's it for now .. Emily is waking up in her crib. In two weeks, it will be a toddler bed. I can NOT wait!!

Confessions of a yarnaholic: Part 3

I was good, and I organized all of my yarn. Oh, and I made the bed too, haha! I don't want to wake up screaming in the middle of the night like an Aunt I have, screaming cause something brushed up against my leg! ;-) Alright ... so I bought three *bags of 10* lighthouse yarns. There in the bottom right corner. You can see the blues on the bottom, and the pinks in the middle. Well, the ones on top, they're supposed to be this really pretty dark pink/purple ombre ... but I only have 4 like that. The other 6 are more green/blue/brown. They're from a seperate dye lot, which is why they're like that. Bummer, huh! Ah well .. I can still use them all. The BIG balls on the side, as I explained in a previous entry, are HUGE skeins .. I can make a baby blanket, hat, booties, and a sweater out of them and STILL have yarn left over. I'm missing one out of the bunch though .. since I slready started using it for a blanket I started. the stuff with the red/yellow and red/black labels .. thats what I got in my "assortment" bags. They have a really bright rainbow verigated yarn (8 total), a bright pink/purple/turquoise verigated yarn (8) this super soft baby pastels yarn (4) some "heather" yarn, in dark grey (4) and dark berry (4). Above them, in the to left corner, I have felting yarn, which basically the more you wash whatever you make with this, the more it looks like fabric, and the colors mesh together. I can't wait to start on that as well. And what's taking up the entire top half (my side) of the bed, is FUN FUR!!!! I use this for scarves, and also to embellish hats and brims and such. I'm officially SET on yarn. This is just what I PURCHASED .. not counting what I already have .. which is about this mich, if not more. I have three HUGE boxes of yarn I already have .. haha!
Bryan jokes that I can open my own yarn store .. and I'm positive I can! I've been taking alchemy orders on my shop, and I've had to deny quite a few since I didnt have the yarn people were requesting. Well, not aymore! I have a list of emails that I need to send out and get the orders going again ... I'm so excited I'm about to burst!
